Tragic... and the skyward symbols searing.

Moon passing Saturn in Sagittarius to trine Uranus in Aries... incendiary shock waves, chaos, with a Saturn and Scorpio Sun type hostage situation... vitriol, herding others.

Hostage situation took place at the Bataclan Arts Centre... Moon in Sagittarius square Neptune and Chiron in Pisces, wounded patron of the arts.  Sagittarius activity suggests ideological motivation in attack, Uranus in Aries the wildcard warrior.

Moon in Sagittarius trine Uranus in Aries... three explosions outside a bar near Stade de France, where France were hosting Germany in a "friendly" game that continued to its end.  Mars and Venus recently into the first decan of Libra called 'Peace' (in Book T and The Book of Thoth), threatened by Uranus in Aries, retrograde in the second decan 'Virtue'.

Rough projection of time of attacks based on emergence of initial reports and photos is a bit before 4pm EST, say 3:45, or 9:45pm CET.

(( EDIT: The time of attacks seems to be about 9:10 CET.  This changes few major placements in a Placidus chart, although the South Node in Pisces remains in the 10th with Uranus in Aries; the North Node and Mars are with Venus in the 4th. ))

Uranus in Aries sits with the South Node in Pisces at the martially ruled Midheaven, with the North Node in Virgo, Mars and Venus in Libra at the bottom on the Imum Coeli. Cancer on the Ascendant hits home, Jupiter in Virgo strangely boundary-pushing in the 3rd house, Mars and Venus in Libra in the 4th squaring Ascendant — inner desire for the peace and security that Uranus in Aries in the 10th seems to have conquered... trined, activated by Moon in Sagittarius in the 5th.

The Saturn-Neptune square from the 5th house to the 9th seems particularly ideological in these planets' house placements, atop this entire happening taking on Saturn in Sagittarius characteristics. As the astrologer Adam Elenbaas pointed out, both this square and the one between Uranus and Pluto provide a broader context, going beyond the uncannily mirroring astrology during the exact time of the attacks.

Celestial symbols and many such energies go beyond temporal cause and effect... the human will is like a blade sharpened against external forces, whatever varying powers they may yield. No matter what stones or fires the blade is forged in, the human will is responsible for whatever light or dark it sows.
