To have your natal chart — that is, the 'birth chart' — read by a professional astrologer can be a formative experience, one impacting your life for many years to come.
Natal astrology uses the location and time of your birth to determine the positions of planets and other celestial bodies, mining them for clues about temperament, psychological tendencies and life path itself.
Traditional techniques can reveal different balances of good fortune and banes; what arenas of life they might be expressed in; and how to mitigate or move with these influences along particular timelines for the purpose of greater integration and fulfillment of the opportunities we are given.
A birth chart reading is like an exploration of your 'soul codex' or psychological blueprint. Readings form a strata of life experience, providing context in cosmos, a space where it becomes normal to feel seen, where being read for can feel like 'years of therapy condensed into an hour.' (That is not to suggest that astrology readings replicate modes of clinical psychotherapy, despite both offering ongoing dialogue and some practitioners being certified across 'both worlds.')
Self-knowledge through astrology helps us meet the world and each moment in it with an enriched, participatory sense of relationship, and of personal movement toward spiritual and psychological wholeness.
The archetypal 'planetary pantheon' is mirrored by the living symbols speaking through our psyches, reflected in the dictum "As Above, So Below."

The Birth Chart Reading
The natal chart is a geocentrically oriented, two-dimensional snapshot of the planetary bodies in our solar system and their positions, as related to the location and time of your birth. Interpretation thereof can ground us in our power, expediting the individuation process, helping us 'make known that which was yet to be made known.'
A birth chart reading with me runs 60-90 minutes (sometimes longer), and involves detailed analysis of the core symbolism in your chart, with focus on psychological tendencies and shadow integration, as well as interpretation of decan-based images. Forecasting is typically limited to a general overview of current and upcoming transits, but forecasting of future dates and reflections on past transits can be requested as a more central focus for one's reading.

How accurate are your readings?
A capable astrologer will admit when they don't have the answer. I always communicate to the best of my ability, and I am confident that you will find my readings insightful and actionable. Predictions and time-based suggestions are part of astrology, but I never tell you what to think or when to act.
Are these readings like horoscopes?
Short answer: no. While horoscopes can be fun and insightful,Astrology is a kaleidoscopic prism, not a sun sign prison. At each moment, all the stars shine and all the planets weigh upon us uniquely in their movements, just as they did at each of our births. Astrological readings help you to recognize and embrace all of the mythic shades that make up your experiences.
Is it easy to reschedule?
Re-scheduling should be just as easy as using the scheduling form in the first place! If you have a scheduled reading, check your email for instructions on how to reschedule using Acuity. If you encounter any technical problems beyond this, don't hesitate to reach out to me directly by email or direct message on Instagram.
How does our relationship work?
In general you are free to contact me directly and I will respond as soon as possible. When you schedule your reading, you can choose your preferred delivery method(s): video call, audio recording, written reading, etc.. If you choose a video call, you will receive instructions for making the meeting.
Do you offer sliding scale pricing?
Sliding scale or donation-based rates can sometimes be made available to those who cannot afford my stated rates. It is my belief that no one should be priced out of the insight and holistic healing that astrology can bring. No matter your financial situation, if you desire a reading then fill out a contact form and we'll see if we can make it work.
Do you offer refunds?
Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancelation. Beyond that, the nature of my work is that chart readings are rigorously prepared for and delineations made prior to your being present — and can also be delivered without a live reading. Due to this, as well as scheduling and pricing needs, I do not offer refunds for a reading once full payment has been accepted.
